Administration Memo:

Hello Families, as the end of year is fast approaching, we wanted to keep you informed about some of the changes in procedures for a couple of our events. Due to high enrollment numbers this year we must limit the number of guests attending both our kindergarten and 5th grade move up celebrations. The information is as follows:

• Kindergarten - we are currently planning for an outside event on the side of the building. We will be providing each student with 4 tickets. If you do not have a ticket you will have to remain on the sidewalk. We are also suggesting that parents bring a small camping chair as we will not have outdoor seating. IN THE EVENT IT RAINS, our event will be moved into the Globe Park school cafeteria. If this should happen students will only be permitted 2 GUESTS as per occupancy and fire codes. 

• 5th Grade - we are currently planning for an inside event at the Woonsocket High School Auditorium. The first 3 rows will be reserved for our grade 5 students and will be taped off. Please refrain from sitting in this section. Each student will be permitted 4 guest and will be issued tickets. You will need the ticket in hand to enter the auditorium.

Each group of students will be performing, receiving their move up certificates, walking across the stage,  and many students will receive awards. So we encourage families to bring their cameras and rest their voices…We truly want to celebrate all that your students have accomplished.

6/2/23: Grade 2 Field Trip

6/6/23: WHS Senior Walkthrough - Globe Park students will celebrate our graduating Seniors

6/7/23: Grade 3 and Room 6 - Activities Day

6/9/23: Student of the Month Celebrations

6/9/23: WHS Graduation 

6/13/23: Grade 4 Field Trip

6/14/23: Room 1, 2, and 21 - Field Trip 

6/14/23: School Committee Mtg - Hamlet @ 7 pm

6/15/23: Kindergarten Move Up 9:45 am

6/15/23: Grade 5 Move Up 5 pm @ WHS Auditorium

6/16/23: Spirit Day - Luau Day (wear your tropical prints)

6/18/23: Father’s Day

6/19/23: No School (Juneteenth Day)

6/21/23: Last Day of School

7/5/23: First Day of Summer School (for those to registered)

I also encourage every family to fill out the Meal Benefits Packet : English, Spanish
